Can I take my calcium on the day of my appointment?

No. Calcium takes 24 hours to leave your system so it should not be taken the morning of your exam.

Is this a total body scan?

No, only the left hip and lumbar spine are scanned.

When will I get results?

In most cases your physician will have your results within 24 hours, often less. Please be advised that we do not give results to you. You must get them from your physician.
